Aips++ is not a new release of the AIPS packages, You can look at http://aips2.nrao.edu/docs/aips++.html get information about this new software
At IRA we have an Aips++ distribuition that works on the LINUX
starting from FEDORA CORE 3 computers only.
To start Aips+ you have to enter at login prompt ( or insert the file .login file ) the command:
aips++setup
then you can start Aips++ with the command:
aips++
