XRONOS can now read light curves given in FITS file format. Binned data (EXTNAME = 'RATE' or HDUCLAS2= 'LIGHTCURVE') as well as event list data (EXTNAME = 'EVENT' or HDUCLAS2= 'EVENT') can be directly read in XRONOS. The different formats are given in the OGIP memo 93-003 (also see Legacy no. 3). Sample of the FITS header file can be found in the anonymous ftp account on legacy.gsfc.nasa.gov machine in the directory fits_info.
