XRONOS applications are the subset of XRONOS commands which are used to carry
out different types of analysis. The following XRONOS applications are
available:
- lda - List DAta in input (header and points)
- asc - convert binary file to ASCII
- lc1 - plot Light Curve for 1 time series
- lc2 - plot Light Curve and ratio for 2 time series
- lc3 - plot Light Curve and ratios for 3 series (and colour-colour)
- sta - STatistical Analysis
- win - create/read/change a window file
- ef1 - Epoch Folding for 1 time series
- ef2 - Epoch Folding and ratio for 2 time series
- ef3 - Epoch Folding and ratios for 3 series (and colour-colour)
- efs - Epoch Folding Search for periodicities
- qdp - plot a QDP file
- psd - Power Spectrum Density analysis with FFT
- pss - Power Spectrum density analysis with Slow direct FT
- acf - Auto Correlation Function with fast method
- acs - Auto Correlation function with Slow method
- ccf - Cross Correlation Function with fast method
- ccs - Cross Correlation function with Slow method
- tss - Time Skewness function with Slow method
Note that a number of applications include utilities to rebin the results of
the analysis either by using a constant or a logarithmic step and to remove (or
analyse) various types of trends from the input series.
