Future

XRONOS is currently being interfaced to FITS tables and to the Xanadu Parameters Interface (XPI) library. The latter will make both command driven as well as standalone XANADU (and XRONOS) tasks easier to write, will complement them with a graphic user interface, and will allow standalone tasks to run under IRAF. Future applications will include:

• Searches for coherent periodicities both with power spectrum and epoch folding techniques

• Pulse phase and period determination for light curves with a coherent signal and orbital solutions

• Display and analysis of time images

• Cross spectrum analysis

• Alternative Power spectrum and correlation technique in the presence of sparse and/or non-equispaced data

• Fractal analysis
