Recall a previous command with terminal recall key
The buffer command will invoke command line recall using the line recall key on the terminal. To turn on the terminal recall key, type:
[n]Xronos> buffer onThe major advantage of this command (compared to recall and reexecute) is that it allows the recalled command to be edited. A list of the previous commands is obtained by typing:
[n]Xronos> buffer listThe option is turned off by typing:
[n]Xronos> buffer offWarning: This command is terminal dependent. For some terminal types it may cause strange effects, such as the input not being echoed to the screen. If this happens, use buffer off to reset the terminal.
