lda

List Data (Application)

Application lda is to list the data from input files at the terminal. It requires one input series. It is run in the Question/Answer user interface by typing:

[n]Xronos> lda
in the Partial Question/Answer user interface by typing:

[n]Xronos> lda [series1]
and in the Command-Driven user interface by typing:

More on lda

By default the header content of each input file is displayed but not the data points. The exposure in each bin used by XRONOS applications, besides dead time, also includes instrument-dependent constants (i.e. the collimator effinciency in the case of the EXOSAT ME and GS experiments, or the normalisation for the EXOSAT LE) such that, when dealing with photon counting experiments, the relevant Poisson statistics can be reconstructed.
