Additional flexibility in XRONOS applications is achieved by using a number of global parameters. These are written to file xronos.pf in the working directory. When the control program xronos is invoked, a version of file xronos.pf containing all default values is automatically copied to the working directory. However, if file xronos.pf already exists in your working directory, it will not be overwritten, unless you type:
